Planning Commission

About

The Planning Commission is an independent advisory  body consisting of seven (7) township residents who are appointed by the Board of Supervisors, to ensure that the important issues of land use and future growth are balanced – by preserving property owner’s rights ​​while furthering the best interest of the public.   The Planning Commission plays a vital role in shaping the future of the Township as they are charged with the task of developing and updating the Township’s  Zoning Ordinance and map, the Comprehensive Plan and the Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance, all of which have an impact on the property that you own.
